The Royal Opera House Muscat is not only an opera house but also mainly a cultural centre, the opera house was established in one of the few places in the world where traditional heritage and culture are thriving within a modern global context.By presenting Omani productions, national culture is given a high profile in-country and exposed to tourists from around the world. ROHM’s approach is not to redefine national culture, but to give it new life in a global context. At the same time, ROHM brings the world literally to their doorstep. Like other world-class opera houses, the Royal Opera House Muscat presents innovative, as well as classic versions of operas in the world repertoire.
