Cultural Perspectives: A Joint Concert Between the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra & China NCPA Orchestra

About

On 22 May, 2021, China National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO), though physically being thousands of miles apart, jointly released "Cultural Perspectives: a joint concert between the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and China NCPA Orchestra", celebrating the friendship between China and the UK. Conducted respectively by Music Director of China NCPA Orchestra LÜ Jia and Music Director Designate of the RPO Vasily Petrenko, the two orchestras performed in turn representative works from Johannes Brahms, Maurice Ravel, Qigang Chen and Dani Howard.
