March 29^th, 2021 marks the one-year anniversary of Krzysztof Penderecki’s death. The BFPA honors the life and artistic legacy of the Poland’s greatest modern composer with the concert Beethoven and Penderecki: The Sphere of Sacrum.

The concert was presented by Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Andrzej Boreyko. The orchestra performed three classic pieces including Adagietto from Paradise Lost by Krzysztof Penderecki and Muzyka do baletu Twory Prometeusza op. 43 and V Symfonia c-moll op. 67 by Ludwig van Beethoven. The concert was live streamed on the BFPA website, NCPA Classical Music Channel and co-presented by institutions such as Ludwig van Beethoven Association and Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
