Beijing Forum for Symphonic Music 2023

As one of the three main events under the WAPA framework, the Beijing Forum for Symphonic Music has been held successfully twice in 2019 and 2021. Created in this new era featuring cultural prosperity in China and cultural diversity in the world, the Forum, in line with the principles of being international, open and forward-looking, aims to build a high-level international platform for exchanges in the field of symphonic music. By identifying the developing trends and discussing hot issues of symphonic music, it will draw more attention and support to the development of symphonic music from all sectors of society and promote cross-region and cross-industry integration in order to contribute to exchanges and development in the global performing arts industry.Themed "Reaching for Innovation, Sharing for Prosperity," Beijing Forum for Symphonic Music 2023 will be held from November 13th to 14th in Beijing, China.

About Us

Beijing Forum for Performing Arts

Initiated by the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), the Beijing Forum for Performing Arts (BFPA) was established on September 9, 2020. It is a non-governmental, non-profit and collaborative organization voluntarily formed by performing arts institutions and related institutions around the world, headquartered in Beijing, China.

Members

The BFPA is composed of institutional members and honorary (individual) members. Institutional members shall consist of world-renowned theatres, performance groups, cultural groups, art academies, cultural companies and other performing arts institutions. Renowned individuals in cultural and related fields may be accepted to the Forum as honorary members. Currently, 27 institutions from 18 countries of 5 Continents have joined the BFPA.
