Osesp begins August with the world premiere of the last work written by one of the great jazz names, Chick Corea (1941-2021). With Giancarlo Guerrero on the podium and Joseph Alessi as soloist, Osesp presents the Concerto for Trombone between August 5th and 7th in the São Paulo Concert Hall. The piece is a co-commission of Osesp with the New York Philharmonic, the Helsinki Philharmonic of Finland and the Gulbenkian Foundation of Lisbon, Portugal.
