Orchestre symphonique de Montreal will be returning to Korea after 14 years in a concert held in splendid fashion at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall in July. The program includes Prokofiev Violin Concerto No.1 performed by three-time Grammy Award-winning violinist Hilary Hahn and Mahler’s Symphony No.5.

Orchestre symphonique de Montreal has received adoration on the world stage for its performance of more French melodies and musical styles than any other orchestra in France. This visit is attracting considerable attention as it is the first tour held since the inauguration of Rafael Payare, a conductor from El Sistema, Venezuela, who is the new music director chosen by Barenboim, Abbado and Dudamel.
