The online concert is presented by four BFPA member institutions of Teatro Colón, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Centro Cultural Kirchner and the China National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), along with Sodre National Symphony Orchestra. The programme of the concert was quite unique, presenting characteristics of different countries and regions. The BFPA Secretariat specially arranged a pre-performance talk, introducing the participating orchestras and every piece of work to be played.
The Concert Gala Series is an specially curated project by the BFPA members to display the artistic characteristics of the countries and arts institutions. The concert was the first episode of the series. The Secretariat will continue to build the online Concert Gala Series to cover concert, opera, dance and others forms of arts. Aided by editing, on-site recording, live broadcast and other technological means, the series is aimed to present unique online performances to promote cultural communication and exchanges.
