On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Spain, the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) and the Teatro Real, members of the Beijing Forum for Performing Arts (BFPA), have specially planned and presented “Illuminated in Harmony”: LAI Jiajing, Rafael Aguirre and NCPAO. The joint concert invited Spanish guitarist Rafael Aguirre to collaborate with the NCPAO to perform classical works by Chinese and Spanish composers. It sends best wishes to the friendship between China and Spain through the form of art.
As part of the "Music from Around the World" concert series initiated by the BFPA, the concert took place on July 15th at the Concert Hall of the NCPA and was broadcast globally on various China’s domestic and international online media platforms in Chinese and English on July 22nd, winning over 18 million clicks.
